Over the summer, Martin Pickavé (Toronto) asked me to post the following the announcement:
Dear Fellow Historians of Medieval Philosophy,
Some of you might already have heard about Ergo, a new open access journal of philosophy. The journal has just been launched by my two colleagues Franz Huber and Jonathan Weisberg (University of Toronto) and can be accessed here: http://www.ergophiljournal.org/.
The new journal is very explicit about being an inclusive general journal of philosophy and the managing editors are especially keen on submissions in the history of philosophy in general and medieval philosophy in particular. So please consider submitting your work. There are specialized medieval philosophy journals for many modern languages, but for the general visibility of our important field it would also be good if some of our work appeared in generalist journals such as this new one.
Let me know if you have questions concerning Ergo.
